went to orchard. things that i didn’t expect to find. i found at far east plaza’s chameleon
- ting’s kaela – a brown feathered hat- $6.90
- chin’s lune/ashley – a pink gowned bunny clip – $2.90
they’ve a black feathered hat version, i wanted to buy for luca but after thinking twice, i put it back. went to bugis bhg’s toy department and asked sales lady if i can purchase the smores set (10) in the glass display case. she said no, i’ve to “tikam” (try my luck). she was a very nice lady. but i can’t gamble when it comes to expensive stuffs. i’ll go to chinatown tomorrow. at taka, they’ve more re-ment options but the same as bhg bugis – don’t know what’s inside. orchard is so brightly lit till my sense of direction/orientation went fuzzy. on wed-fri, i’ll sew luca’s 2nd yukata/happi & shorts and 1st shorts. on sat-sun, i’ll construct a “shock-proof” package for him and wrap all presents (i’ve to figure out how to use the wax seal and how do i wrap all these odd shaped creatures). oh, what a busy week.

found the smores set for chin’s dolls at og chinatown yesterday. i was digging the shelf. it was a toss over 3 items: donuts drive-thru, mickey mouse cafe’s club sandwich and smores set.
9dec , wed
found kiefer’s gift today at bugis. bought 2 sets of handphone strap accessories which i’m gonna take off and make into a pendant. don’t know which one to give, the skull set or the angel set. i’m done! now let’s think of packaging.

1205the arrival of the sun king
yay! alberic’s back home. unpacking him from the box was tedious. his velvet robe was hard to take off. i shouldn’t have removed the plastic wrap that was tying his hair together. after i removed it, woosh all the curls spread out like a giant fluff. ting’s right – i’ll have some difficulty managing his hair. and oops i bought too small a floral clip for him. i underestimated his size and hair. he’s now sitting poised on the desk with legs dangling on the edge. shoes are hard to put on too. his body seems a bit reactive/wobbly, is it because his joints are loose? one hell of a cool fella despite a pompous costume, yah! the skies are overcast. may not be a good day for indoor photoshoot where natural lighting is best. i love his hair, it’s luxuriously beautiful.

luca’s happi
late afternoon picked out scrap cloth at store and attempted to make my first doll-sized happi. 6-7 hours later, voila! something interesting turned out. very proud of the fruit of my sudden burst of effort. it’s not made according to exact taeyang’s specifications. measurements are estimates so it may or may not fit luca. my favorite part’s the flower applique at the back. it’s actually easy to construct but due to its scale, it’s a near vomit blood adventure, hehehehe! i’ve stretched myself a wee bit more than my usual capacity today. i’ve to do a pair of shorts to go along with this soon.

a HUGE problem
i know i’ll be buying a taeyang alberic (after forgoing and shattering my dream of buying a bjd due to unavoidable reasons) but after seeing nov09 released luts bjds, i nearly lost my objective. especially after seeing super senior delf dew. alberic can’t compare to him. he’s like a south pole to dew’s heaven.
my dear lord raynor, the girls are swooning for you. aren’t you gonna do something about it?

the kuvasz rag doll sold out at daiso. i was so disappointed that i lost my mind for a while and started to walk in circles. i bought a siberian tiger and a white frog. hyejin will now own a siberian tiger for a pet. i can’t pretend that the tiger is a dog. which dog has stripes on its body? didn’t realise (until came back home) it had a hole on its left armpit due to overstuffing, lol. here goes, levi and tanko-chan.

nov09 updates
- wonder when sm-tvxq dispute will end. it has taken another dirty turn. been following updates every night from 3 websites without fail. in fact shouldn’t even be online tonight but succumbed to it; i was simply getting nervous.
- i’ve to construct a yukata from scratch without any prior knowledge and i’ve not even bought taeyang alberic yet. ordered 2 pairs of canvas shoes from mimiwoo through chin, can’t decide on which sunny’s world fur wigs to buy.
- sewing’s getting a bit on my nerves now. won’t be continuing lessons after this till further notice. i’m just tired. perhaps it’s better to dismantle clothes to figure out how they’re constructed. maybe i’ll learn better this way.
- 4 big things to complete and haven’t started on any of them yet – driving, braces, degree, fencing.
- watched all 27 29 episodes of hanasakeru seshounen at kazeebo. now i’ve nothing to watch. anticipating episode 28. please come out soon. others think the plot’s so-so, i think it’s great. maybe it’s because kajika, li-ren, eugene, rumaty and carl are like kaos, tc, chris, adam and ian to me.
- i’ve been distracted at work these few weeks. it’s either because i’ve finished all that i’ve to do or all the above are bugging me subconsciously.
- finally read ‘mr monk is miserable’ – snagged the only copy left on the library shelf. somehow my analytical skills get sharper after reading monk. another fantastic read by lee goldberg, looking forward to more to come!
- the judges are not forgiving in this season 6 of project runway.

i didn’t surf the web for 1 day and there’re so many articles on dbsk (most will make you seething mad in anger). things are taking a very low and dirty turn. it’s high time for the 5 guys to unite, step out and speak out. clear everything once and for all, get it all out in the open. when you’ve come a long way and trust in each other, honesty and open communication is the only solution.
dbsk fans, wherever you are, continue to support and pray the best for them!
