after sewing class at teacher’s house, went to exchange short checkered shirt with a green striped shirt at bugis st (the same kind bought a month back but in grey stripes). they no longer carry size m, what’s left is size l. then off to buy the black boots ($48.90) i saw yesterday at central. spent 12 hrs of today outside. spent the most time with ying after chin left. we went to beach rd for breakfast-lunch > textile centre-arab st-chinatown for fabrics and miscellaneous accessories > central > liang court’s kinokuniya > marina square.

so, i smsed ying in the morning asking if she’s going out today. when nearly lost “hope”, she called and said she’s gone back to office to collect her medications which she left behind. met her at bugis at 2pm, then off to arab street and chinatown to find [...]

decided to explore chinatown after realising there’s nothing much at bugis (i’m at bugis 5/7). entered a chinese furniture shop, shop attendant thinks i’m working for the museum (with my camera and messenger bag, do i look like one?) while walking, snap photos of interesting textures and colors i can find.

went to bugis to hunt for skull ring. went to diva, there’s silver black square gem stone setting for $10. very cheap, too big, attract too much attention. bet no eclectic souled rockstar wear such pretty elegant rings. then off to bugis st, searched every alley, went to sterling silver stainless steel shop. minimalistic skull [...]
